Dallas, Texas: Prince Lebanese Grill

February 2017

Prince Lebanese Grill

502 West Randol Mill

Arlington, Texas 76011

When we travel we love finding authentic food, and Prince Lebanese Grill hit the spot! We found this restaurant on Yelp, and with the amazing reviews we knew we had to go eat some good Lebanese Food. Little did we know after that first meal we would be back the next 2 days in a row. The food was outstanding, and the family who owns this gem are incredibly kind!

The restaurant itself is small, casual and clean. It looks like an old fast food restaurant the way the outside is set up. The customer service is very friendly. As soon as we sat down and glanced at the menu, we wanted to try everything!

Once we got there, we found out that the restaurant was featured on Diners, Dives and Drive-ins… or is it Drive-ins, Diners and Dives? Okay, I should go see what that show is called, haha! I was closer the first time. What is Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, for $2000, Alex? You can learn more about this awesome restaurant, here.

We started out with the Thyme Pie. We didn’t really know what to expect with this, but it turned out to be a pita with zaatar spices on top, some olive oil and a lemon wedge. After one bite, we immediately placed an order for a second one. Make sure you order it with feta, too! We ended up ordering one of these each visit.

We also shared a chicken shawarma plate that came with a small salad, hummus and rice. It was a lot of food, so I am very glad we shared. The flavor was out of this world! All the spices on the chicken paired with the hummed were a phenomenal combination. I ordered the chicken shawarma at each meal, because I just couldn’t get enough. I do this… I find an awesome restaurant with an awesome menu and end up ordering the same meal each time because it’s just so good! (We did get the food to go because we had to run.)

My husband ordered the gyro shawarma plate, and he devoured it! He loved that the meat wasn’t too salty, as many restaurants over-salt their gyro meat. It also came with salad, hummus and rice.

Would we eat here again? Yes, please! We ate there 3 days in a row on a 4 day trip to Dallas. Of course we would eat here! We can’t wait to go back!

For food allergies: they offer vegetarian, as well as gluten-free options. No matter where you go, before you order, please talk to the host, chef or waiter and let them know your allergies and intolerances so they can accommodate you.
