This brand is OH! SO GOOD! | Osso Good (Virtual Organic Week 2021)
This brand is “OH SO” delicious and has been a favorite of ours for a long while. Osso Good makes killer sippable bone broth and paleo soups with high quality organic ingredients. Drinking bone broth is great for your immune system, it’s packed with protein, collagen-rich and tastes yummy in your tummy. If you missed out on yesterday’s post check out Oatzarella here.
Two years ago, around this time, I was in Washington D.C. with the Organic Trade Association (OTA) as one of their influencers to "hit the Hill" to lobby for the future of the Organic industry and, more specifically, the Farm Bill. Organic Week D.C. is an amazing week organized by the OTA. Organic businesses travel to D.C. to hit the Hill and meet with key members of Congress! When you support the ORGANIC industry, you are supporting organic brands and organic farmers that believe in the health and wellness of your family. Did you know that there are 700 chemicals that are prohibited in organic farming, yet 3000 chemicals are allowed in conventional farming as opposed to 67 that are allowed in organic. Organic producers, farmers and brands are committed to making healthy food safe and available to all Americans! (Here's a group photo from 2019 when we HIT THE HILL with the OTA!) Read more about that trip HERE.
In 2019, we were able to travel to Washington D.C. for an in person Organic Week, but last year things were moved to a virtual "Organic Week”, and I decided to do my own version in 2020 and host a Virtual Organic Week featuring amazing brands (Live More Organics Freak Flag Organics Four Sigmatic Pines Wheatgrass Artisana Organics Evolved Rebbl) that I love. Eating organic is important to our family and I even write about it in my book, Eat Real Food.
I fell in love with Osso Good after my first sip of their bone broth and was stoked when they launched their soup line. I love their high standards in choosing only the best-of-the-best ingredients. Osso Good was founded by three people who truly believe that food is medicine and that bone broth plays a big part in overall health and well being. We love having their broths and soups in our freezer for a quick meal. They are nutrient-dense, made with the best of the best ingredients and they are very filling. My favorite is the Super Green but they are all so flavorful!
This year, I’m sharing some of my favorite USDA Organic brands and products with you each day on social media and here on www.KrystensKitchen.com, as well as sharing some Q + As with each brand. Follow along on Instagram, too! Please show these brands some love!

Why did you start your company/Why did the company start? We started the company because we truely believe in "food as medicine" and wanted something better than what we were seeing out there. We knew we could make a better bone broth because we were already making it for ourselves, family and friends. The real difference is how robust the flavor is without the use of salt, which truely makes it sippable. Our bone broth is minimally filtered to keep as many nutrients in the broth as we could and gels up when cold, a sign of quality when you're talking bone broth.
Why is creating organic products important to you? It comes down to the saying "you are what you eat" and we stand behind that. We believe great products come from great, simple ingredients. We only use Organic or better ingredients in our Bone Broths and Sippable Soups and the flavor and nutritional value shows it.
What do you wish consumers understood about organic ingredients/sourcing organic ingredients? Ha, that they aren't cheap, but hopefully they will be in the future. Organic ingredients tend to take a lot more care and a little longer to grow and in turn cost more. We believe it's worth it in the end though.
