Find Your Light & Grow

“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.” - Audrey Hepburn

I know NOTHING about growing plants or food, and I wish I could say that I know what I’m doing, but I really don’t. I’m pretty impressed with my green onions though. Just need a little bit of sunlight and a jar with water.

I believe in tomorrow. I believe that each day will get better. I know we may have roadblocks and bumps along the way but we’re growing in the process.

Sometimes we have to find a way to make it happen. We actually get no direct sunlight in our house except in the window above the kitchen sink — where there’s NO ROOM to put anything…. EXCEPT on top of the blender. Yes. This little glass jar of my green onions lives on top of my blender to get the only sunshine that it can.

Try to find your light and your sunshine. You may have to make it yourself. It make be awkward or uncomfortable but find it and hold on to it so that it helps you grow. That could mean starting a new healthy habit (running, walking, reading a book, self care, consuming less sugar, drinking more water, going to bed early, waking up early, etc.) or maybe getting rid of a bad habit. Find your light, use it and grow. Believe in tomorrow.
