Lemon Turmeric Loaf with Lemon Frosting

10/21/19 UPDATE: This amazing Lemon Creme from Rebbl is no longer available. I have now switched it out for the Turmeric Golden Milk from Rebbl in this recipe.

I have said many times, over and over, how much I love Simple Mills’ entire line of of baking mixes. The one that I consistently make the most of is the Artisan Bread Almond Flour Mix.

I have made dinner rolls, flat bread, a loaf, garlic bread spirals, garlic bread, Irish soda bread, buns and more. Today I bring you a delicious Lemon Loaf with Lemon Frosting using the same bread mix as I used for all of the recipes above.

I also used a special Turmeric Golden Milk drink made from one of my favorite brands, Rebbl, to give the bread and the frosting a delicious turmeric lemony flavor.

Rebbl makes delicious elixirs and proteins that are made with all kinds of superfoods and clean ingredients. They have protein coffees, coffee with adaptogens, and coffee-less drinks, as well.

This Turmeric Golden Milk is made with organic sustainably grown and sourced ingredients!

Let’s get to baking!



2 eggs

2 TB lemon Juice

4 TB Maple Sugar*

zest of 1 lemon


1/2 cup cashew butter

2 TB lemon juice

*Maple sugar is different than maple syrup. If you don’t have maple sugar, replace with coconut sugar.

Preheat oven to 350.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread mix, 2 eggs, Rebbl Turmeric Golden Milk, lemon juice, maple sugar and lemon zest.

Bake for 35-40 minutes.

In a small mixing bowl, mix cashew butter, Turmeric Lemon Creme and maple powdered sugar. It might seem hard to stir at first, but just give it a go and don’t give up on it. It will all mix together.

Once the bread is completely cool, pour the frosting on top and sprinkle a little extra lemon zest on top. Slice and serve.
