SUPER Red & Green Waffle Recipe | MacroLife Naturals

It’s Christmas in July in our house, and I’m SUPER(food) excited about today’s Waffle Wednesday! Since the Fall, I have posted a new waffle recipe on my Instagram feed every Wednesday, and I couldn’t wait to share this recipe with you. Not only is it super easy to make (see a quick video / how-to) but it’s made with delicious ingredients and featured MacroLife Natural’s Miracle Reds and Macro Greens - two superfood powders that are gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan and raw. They are so easy to add to smoothies, a water bottle or even waffle batter, plus they taste delicious and give you a great serving of fruits, veggies, probiotics, enzymes and antioxidants!



I had to stick with a red and green theme for Christmas in July. The Miracle Reds and Macro Greens not only give the waffles a beautiful color, but they sure make the waffles taste extra yummy.

Miracle Reds is more than a fruit blend, it’s a nutrient rich blend of heart-friendly plant sterols (naturally occurring compounds found in plant cell membranes). It tastes like the juiciest berries and is jam packed with antioxidants to help with unstable free radicals that can damage your cells. It’s so easy to add to your daily routine, too. I like to add it to a smoothie or even some dairy free yogurt.

INGREDIENTS:


Waffle Mix:

1/2 cup almond flour

3 TB arrowroot flour

2 eggs

Pinch of salt

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp vanilla

1 TB maple syrup

1 TB milk of choice


Yogurt topping: mix about 1/3 cup dairy free yogurt of choice with 1 packet / 1 scoop MacroLife Naturals Miracle Reds & an optional tablespoon of sweetener of choice. I like to use maple syrup.

Directions: Mix waffle ingredients together and make waffles as you would in a waffle maker (I like this waffle maker). While waffles cook, mix yogurt ingredients together and set aside. Once waffles are cooked, smother the yogurt mixture on top and enjoy!
