6 Tips For Disneyland When You're Pregnant

Being pregnant at Disneyland is such a wild ride… and I’m not talking about Mr. Toad’s! I may not be able to ride all the attractions but I get to experience so much more than I thought. Yes, I do get to go on a few rides and I love seeing all the happiness when I look around the parks and truly cannot wait to see it through my own baby’s eyes someday.

First of all there's a lot more to Disneyland than the rides. There are incredible character experiences (see my video when I told the Disney Princesses that I'm pregnant which as hit over 10 million views already), some live entertainment spread throughout the park and depending on the time of year there are different holiday events like the Christmas tree lighting or the flag retreat ceremony which happens daily at dusk. Please talk to your doctor or midwife about what rides are safe for you and your baby while you're pregnant. If you have any questions about what rides Disney recommends, take a trip to City Hall or ask a cast member for more information.

Here are a few tips for my pregnant mamas:

👠 Wear comfy shoes! It’s a lot of walking & you will be exhausted.

💦 Stay hydrated & drink lots of water!

🪑 Sit down when you need to & don’t rush yourself!

🚽 Pee often/before you get on a ride! You don’t want to get stuck flying over Neverland and have to pee! We got stuck but I peed before PHEW!

🥨 Bring snacks! You can bring snacks with you into Disney or find your favs around the park!

🎟 Ask if a ride has a turnstile! If you can’t fit through the turnstile safely with your bump, talk to a cast member… they will let you go through the exit or give you a return time.

I hope this helps on your next journey to the happiest place on earth (Disneyland Resort) or any of the Disneyland Parks around the world.
