Gluten Free Allergen Free EXPO

The Gluten Free Allergen Free (GFAF) Expo will be in San Diego in a few weeks (February 10-11) at the Del Mar Fairgrounds - Wyland Center, and YOU can attend, too.

The GFAF Expo is the biggest gluten free and allergen friendly event in the country. There are many companies exhibiting with their gluten free and allergen friendly foods - many for you to try, too! While not everything is free of the top 8 allergens (milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soy), everything is gluten free (most is certified gluten free) and there are many, many options from the different exhibitors.

I attended my first GFAF back in November and had a great time! As a blogger/influencer (also known as "press") it's a great opportunity to see what products are new and also connect with companies. As an attendee, it's a wonderful chance to find new companies, ask questions and sample their products.

Another wonderful benefit to the GFAF Expo is the education that they offer. They handpick an excellent team of speakers for the weekend that talk about everything from learning to live with celiac disease and food allergies, healing inflammation, managing food allergies on the road and more. I am so excited that one of my dear friends, Kathlena - The Allergy Chef, will be speaking at the upcoming San Diego GFAF. You won't want to miss it! She will also be signing her newest cookbook at her booth - look for her!

It's such a blessing that there are so many wonderful companies that are creating safe foods for those with food allergies. Just five years ago, there weren't all the options that are available now, which means that for the allergy community - our food future looks bright!
