Whole30 Pumpkin Spice Latte with Benefits

It's the most basic time of the year! Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back at a popular coffee spot, and I am sure they have already sold more than I would ever like to know. Here's the deal, I never want to make anyone feel bad about ordering and drinking PSLs, but I DO want to educate people on the ingredients and the toxic amounts of sugar that each PSL contains. I won't get into that here, because I wrote a whole blog on it a few years back, and you can read more about the traditional Pumpkin Spice Latte, some scary statistics and details here. YIKES!



Let's chat about this Whole30 version which has zero added sugars, doesn't need sugar and is totally compliant on your Whole30 -- perfect for anyone starting their Whole30 in September and, really, you can drink this anytime of the year! INGREDIENTS:

6oz hot water

Splash of unsweetened almond milk (optional)

4TB nutpods Pumpkin Spice Creamer (or enough to cover coils in milk frother)


Directions:

Boil water in your teapot.


In your favorite mug, add 1 packet of Four Sigmatic Mushroom Coffee, 2 scoops Vital Proteins Vanilla Collagen Creamer, 1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides, and a splash of unsweetened almond milk (optional).


In a milk frother, (I LOVE THIS ONE) pour enough nutpods Pumpkin Spice Creamer to cover the coils at the bottom. Hit the froth button and await its magic.


Once water is hot, pour about a cup-is into your mug with the coffee, collagen creamer and collagen. Mix with a fork or use a hand frother like this one.


Pour the frothed nutpods Pumpkin Spice Creamer over your coffee and sprinkle with a dash of Primal Palate's Pumpkin Pie Spice and enjoy!
