The Easiest Form of Self Care

I had to FORCE myself to do THIS the other day. WHYYY!?!


I was about to just eat a snack instead of make this delicious meal. Not because I was lazy but because I had so many important things to do. That list is always LOOOOONG! Sometimes it’s easier to just grab a bite of something or eat a bar, grab a shake etc than it is to lovingly prepare a meal for yourself, right? I know you’ve been there done that, too.


YA FEEL ME?


I had to LEGIT tell myself, “Self! You can make the time to prepare this meal!” Knowing it would take about 4 minutes (okay it took me like 6 minutes because I was texting & assembling my food) I gave myself a pep talk & went for it.


Truth is — I know I can spare 5-10 min to make myself a meal (especially with leftovers) & I need to be better about that rather than just grabbing a handful of something or eating a bar when I get super busy.


THIS is a kind of self care that maybe you need to be reminded of — take some time to nourish your body. It’s a great way to start the day & start the week & take care of yourself!


PS - I could eat this meal EVERY SINGLE DAY of my life. Culina Yogurt (plain & simple) + shredded chicken + cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, oregano, olive oil, salt & pepper.
