No Bake Chocolate Banana Tart with Fruit Bliss Fruit Medley | Raw, Vegan, Gluten Free, Organic, Pale

This post is sponsored by Fruit Bliss.

I don't know about you but this year, Santa is getting a no bake tart with his dairy free homemade cashew milk instead of cookies, because, wowza, this tart is delicious! It’s so fresh and creamy! I just know that you will love this amazing, no bake dessert that is made with minimal and clean ingredients.

The crust is so perfectly sweetened with Fruit Bliss Fruit Medley, which is Organic, Vegan, Gluten Free and NonGMO Project Verified! The Fruit Medley contains Apricots, Plums and Figs and makes a beautiful crust for this tart. It works so perfectly with the almonds and flaxseed meal to create a perfect crust.

Fruit Bliss' Apricots, Plums and Figs are pitted, soft and juicy! They are Non-GMO Project Verified, Vegan and Kosher as well. Their process is minimal as the fruit is dried in the sun and the only thing added is water to steam or dehydrate! Their fruit might seem darker in color but that’s because they skip the preservatives and added chemicals that give other dried fruits a bright color.

You’ll also never believe that the filling is made with avocados — and you don’t even taste them at all! If you aren’t an avocado fan, you will still thoroughly enjoy this tart.

Do you know the difference between a tart and a pie? A PIE is a sweet or savory dish that has a crust and lots of filling and sometimes a pastry crust on top. A TART is a sweet or savory dish that has a crust, but has shallow sides and no pastry crust on top. TARTS are also made in a pan where the bottom is removable which makes it easy for cutting and serving.

I love all the products from Fruit Bliss. Their Organic Turkish Dried Apricots are so tasty in this Naughty or Nice Cauliflower Rice and their Tart Cherries make delicious Cherry, Lemon & Rosemary Cookies. Their products are so versatile, made with so much love and are so pure and very tasty.

Let’s get to some Holiday no-Baking!

__________

INGREDIENTS

Crust:

3 TB Flaxseed Meal

1 cup raw almonds

1 tsp Vanilla

pinch of salt

Filling:

2 avocados

3 bananas

3 TB coconut milk

2 TB maple syrup

3-4 TB cocoa powder

Directions:

In your food processor, combine the Fruit Bliss Fruit Medley, flaxseed meal, raw almonds, vanilla, sea salt. Mix until crumbly and sticky.

Press into a tart pan. You can do this one of two ways. Put mixture between 2 pieces of parchment paper, roll thin and assemble into a tart pan… or the easy way is to press it in with your hands. If your hands get too sticky, use a piece of parchment to press into the pan. Make sure you get the edges.

Put in the freezer for 20 minutes while you make the filling.

In your blender, add the bananas, avocados, maple syrup and coconut milk, cocoa powder and blend until creamy and smooth.

Remove the tart from the freezer and add in your filling. Put back in the fridge for 30-40 minutes to chill.

Decorate with fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, chocolate chips or anything else your heart desires for your tart.

Cut and serve. Should be eaten within 3-5 days — trust me that will be no problem at all! Store in fridge.
