Pumpkin Spice Up Your Life - 8 Pumpkin Things You Need This Fall

If you are around my age then you definitely see what I did there with the title. If not, then Google “Spice Up Your Life” or click here.

It’s that time of the year where everywhere you look there is pumpkin something, right? I was just at Trader Joe’s and saw all of the pumpkin goodies they brought back in stock. It’s amazing what they make using pumpkin and what people will buy because it’s made with pumpkin, pumpkin flavored, pumpkin scented or just simply has pumpkins on it. There is nothing wrong with that, by the way. I am just making a pumpkin observation.

If you saw my blog about the famous PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte) from Starbucks, then you know that Pumpkin Spice isn’t my favorite thing, but I do like certain pumpkin things. Those pumpkin things are below.

Here are my 6 favorite Pumpkin things - perfect for any Pumpkin-lover this Fall.

1 Pumpkin Spice Syrup - NuNaturals

Plant-based, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, soy-free, dairy-free, non-GMO

It’s Pumpkin Spice Syrup season, and if you are buying them from Starbucks then you are paying too much and investing toxic amounts of sugar and all kinds of chemicals that are 100% unnecessary. I have found a great alternative that is healthier, has 0 sugar, 0 calories, 0 carbs and 0 everything.

This Pumpkin Spice Syrup is made with clean ingredients like different spice extracts and sweetened with stevia. It’s a plant-based syrup that is also non-GMO and vegan.

It’s a wonderful way to amp the flavor of your coffee or any recipe without adding all the sugar! I just posted a recipe for a Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte that will surely satisfy any PSL cravings and you can drink it knowing you aren’t ingesting any bad stuff!

Also perfect for Fall is their Chai Spice Syrup.

2 Pumpkin Spice - RX BAR

Gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, cane sugar-free, Whole30

RX Bar nailed this! For someone who isn’t into pumpkin that much, I absolutely loved this bar. It’s the same great RX BAR texture, ingredients and protein, no BS and with pumpkin and pumpkin spice flavors.

Cut this bar into little pieces and sprinkle on oatmeal, some yogurt or your favorite vanilla ice-cream. Keep one in your desk drawer, backpack, purse or car.

Smooth pumpkin, blended together with warming hints of cinnamon, ginger and cloves, will remind you of your favorite pumpkin pie. You’ll want to stock up on this flavor before it disappears until next fall.

Keep this in mind: they also have a long shelf life so you could be eating Pumpkin Spice until the Spring if you order enough! I am just throwing that out there for you.

3 Pumpkin Marshmallows - Dandies

vegan, gelatin-free, gluten-free, top 8-free (peanut-free, tree nut-free, milk-free, egg-free, wheat-free, fish-free, shellfish-free), corn-free, corn syrup-free, non-GMO

I love Dandies! While I can’t eat many of them due to my cane sugar intolerance, these are my marshmallows of choice.

Last March, I made these super cute Mickey Mouse Rice Krispee Treats using them, and everyone loved them and had no idea they were made with top 8-free, vegan, nonGMO marshmallows! You could even say, they are "The Happiest Marshmallows On Earth"

Dandies are made with all natural ingredients, they are gelatin free (100% vegan) and free from most common allergens (peanut, tree nut, milk, egg, wheat, fish, shellfish, and corn). The are gluten free and they contain no corn syrup. (Made in a dedicated vegan facility.)

Dandies marshmallows can melt or be toasted over a campfire. You can add them to a healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte, make all kinds of desserts with them or just eat them straight from the bag.

4 Pumpkin Spice Pancake & Waffle Mix - Birchbenders

gluten-free, dairy-free, cane sugar-free, grain-free, low-glycemic, paleo

I found this pancake mix at Whole Foods the other day and decided to go for it. Knowing that it is pumpkin and, even though pumpkin isn’t my go-to flavor, it is my husband’s favorite, so I didn’t hesitate to put it in my cart. The next day, I woke up early (something I never do) before my hubby got up and make him these pancakes and a pumpkin spice latte using the syrup above to surprise him. He loved every bite! It was a pumpkin kind of morning in our house, for sure.

The ingredients are clean, as these pancakes are Paleo and made with cassava, almond flour, eggs, dried pumpkin, and coconut flour, leavening, salt, spices and monk fruit. All you have to do is add water and mix it up to make pancakes! It

’s pretty easy and they came out super tasty! Top with your favorite maple syrup or nut butter and enjoy!

5 Pumpkin Muffin & Bread Mix - Simple Mills

Paleo, gum-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, non-GMO, low in sugar, grain-free, soy-free, corn-free

If you follow me on social media then you know we are big fans of Simple Mills! I have literally made every single mix in their line and have tasted every one of their crackers and cookies. I can proudly say that this is one of my absolute favorite companies out there! They are making clean ingredient mixes that are 100% tasty and don’t lack on flavor or texture.

Their Pumpkin Muffin & Bread mix is made with 8 ingredients that you can totally pronounce and that is really easy to make. This is a great healthy mix that will satisfy any sweet craving for breakfast muffins this Fall. Add some chocolate chips or toasted nuts to the top and enjoy with a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Your kitchen will smell amazing, too - just another pumpkin baking perk!

6 Pumpkin Pie Spice - Primal Palate

gluten-free, non-GMO, no preservatives, cane sugar-free, Paleo, organic, whole30, non-irradiated

With only 4 ingredients, this Pumpkin Pie Spice is our absolute favorite. We use it mostly to top a pumpkin spice latte, but I’ve also used it in baking, for pancakes, cookies, etc. You can add it to anything your pumpkin-loving heart desires, including: pies, muffins, cheesecake, custards, sweet potatoes, and more.

I love that Primal Palate takes pride in the ingredient that they use for all of their spice blends. It’s also great to see common spice bends that might normally contain cane sugar, but instead have coconut sugar in them. My favorite is the Cinnamon Sugar Cookie, it’s great on lattes or on anything, really. All of their spices are also Whole 30 approved except for the Gingersnap and Cinnamon Sugar Cookie.

Consider this Pumpkin Pie Spice for all your pumpkin needs this Fall and holiday season.

It tastes like pumpkin pie with a hint of cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon, all while giving you the benefits of nutritious greens, fruits and veggies (wheat grass, barley grass, alfalfa, spirulina, spinach, chlorella and broccoli), vitamins and minerals, digestive enzymes and probiotics making this one jam-packed drink mix!

You can add a scoop to water, dairy-free milk of choice or add it to a protein smoothie. My husband's favorite is a scoop of Amazing Grass Pumpkin Spice Green SuperFood with some Good Karma Foods Flax Milk or homemade cashew milk!
