Apple Cider Vinegar Cake Waffles | Gluten Free, Paleo & Dairy Free

Have you ever had cake waffles before? What even are cake waffles, you ask? They are cake-like waffles. Hah! It's pretty self explanatory. I found an awesome recipe for cake-like donuts using Apple Cider Vinegar, made it paleo, gluten-free, grain-free and cane sugar-free and turned them into waffles to celebrate Waffle Wednesday! You need to try these!

Makes 4-6 waffles (depending on your waffle maker)

INGREDIENTS

2/3 cup almond milk

3/4 cup almond flour

1/4 cup coconut flour

2 Tablespoons flaxseed meal

pinch of sea salt

1 Tablespoon Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 cup coconut sugar

2 Tablespoons creamy cashew butter*

1 egg

1/2 teaspoon vanilla


ACV Frosting Drizzle

1/3 cup Organic Powdered Confectioners Stevia

1 Tablespoon Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar

1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions: Mix all waffle batter ingredients in a bowl. Use your waffle maker according to instructions and cook all the way through. Mix frosting ingredients in a separate bowl. Add a little more ACV, vanilla or powdered stevia to taste. Drizzle over waffles and enjoy,.
