Mushroom Coffee Chaga Latte

If you read my last blog post about how I put mushrooms in my coffee, then you already know about all the amazing health benefits of mushrooms. Four Sigmatic makes drinking-mushrooms and superfoods that are tasty and easy to use. You just add to hot water (or hot flax milk or nut milk of choice), a smoothie or whatever your heart desires.

Don't worry if you don't have a Nespresso milk frother, you can still use a powerful blender to make this latte. If you have a milk frother other than Nespresso, then use accordingly.

Tip: Do you have a Vitamix or high powerful blender? Did you know you can heat your cold coffee in the blender? Just blend on high for 3-5 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 (ish) cups cashew milk

1 packet of Chaga from Four Sigmatic

1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides (omit to make vegan)

1 Brain Octane MCT oil from Bulletproof

Directions:

Put 3/4 cup cashew milk, packet of Mushroom Coffee packet, Chaga packet, Vital Proteins, Brain Octane in your Vitamix or high powered blender. Blend on high for about 2-3 minutes.

While blending, pour the remaining 3/4 cup cashew milk in milk frother and ... froth! In the Nespresso, you just hit the button but use your frother accordingly.

If you don't have a milk frother, add all ingredients to blender and blend on high for 3-5 minutes or until coffee is hot.

Enjoy.
