Portion Perfect Weight Loss Kit from Bentology + Giveaway

It’s safe to say that in the USA there is no such thing as portion control. When you go out to eat and order a pasta dish, they cook you an entire box of pasta. We can agree that’s a ton of carbs, right? How about when you see advertisements for never-ending bowls of pasta? That’s crazy! I wish they had never-ending bowls of roasted Brussels sprouts with garlic and never-ending freshly squeezed green juices! I am just throwing that out there.

There have been so many portion-size tools for you to properly determine the quantity of carbs, protein, fruits and fats you should eat. To be honest, there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to standard portion control. However, using a tool of some kind is a good place to start.

This Portion Perfect Weight Loss Kit from Bentology is a great place to work on your portion size, but it does so much more than assist in portion control. It’s a lunchbox, too! It’s made right here in the USA, is food-safe, there’s no lead or BPA, phthalates or PVC, it’s dishwasher safe (top rack, of course) and has leak-resistant lids. It’s really handy to keep in the kitchen for when you need to pack yourself a lunch for school, the office, a fun day at the beach or even a magical day Disneyland. Side note: did you know you can bring your own food into Disneyland? Yup - it’s true! That makes it easier to enjoy the fun when you have food allergies or a strict diet.

I recently packed my lunch for an afternoon at the beach using my Portion Perfect Weight Loss Kit, and I didn’t even have to think when putting it all together. There was a spot perfect for a piece of leftover chicken, a nice big container for some fresh cucumber, a spot for apples, Jilz Gluten Free Crackerz, and some EatingEVOLVED Roasted Coconut Butter for apple slices. It was a no-brainer packing my lunch!

Bentology has also done some more work for you, they even send you a booklet that has meal plans and menu ideas, workout routines and motivating tips to kickstart your weight loss journey. Even if you aren’t trying to lose weight, this portion control lunch box is a great product to have and use. It’s great quality and even comes with a cute tote bag/cooler. The cooler is very spacious and can even hold an extra snack, if you have a long day ahead of you, and a few drinks. I brought an Essentia water, a Malk Organics Cold Brew Coffee and a Zevia Cherry Cola. I like options.

Here’s how I packed my Portion Perfect lunchbox for some beach time with my love.

Veggies - cucumbers

Protein - left over chicken

Fruit - apple slices

Healthy Fat - Roast Coconut Butter

Whole Grain* - Jilz Crackerz

In the silverware spot, I stuck a string cheese - that's called, "resourceful" in my opinion.

*You could very well put some brown rice or quinoa in this compartment. I chose to put crackers that are made from almonds. Due to my food allergies, I wouldn’t put pita bread, popcorn, corn chips or pasta in this spot, but that is a personal decision. The beauty of this box is that YOU get to be creative and make the perfect lunch to enjoy.
